Accelerate is a community of Christian students in Malvern, Arkansas. At Accelerate, students are able to worship, learn, and become spiritually mature individuals. Each week there is a worship service geared for today's student. We use high impact means to create a welcoming environment any student would enjoy.
We are a culturally and ethnically diverse group. Our age requirements are grades 6-12, with a minimum age of 12 and a maximum age of 18. We offer a state of the art game room, plenty of games and activities, a cafe serving the finest in caffeine and sugar, and some low energy crash space for those who just need some time to chill.
Also, students are provided opportunities for camps, fine arts development and competition, mentoring, and civic involvement. Students from Accelerate have advanced beyond the state level to national competition, with one group winning the National Fine Arts Competition Rap Group Division in Indianapolis in 2007.
We meet every Wednesday at our facilities at 1725 Tanner Street in Malvern. Our building is not visible from the street. It is set back on the lot to provide plenty of space for the new church facility that will soon be built on the site. Doors open at 6:30, services start at 7PM and things usually wind down around 8:30.
